No- tipping?

Chain seafood restaurant Joe’s Crab Shack has decided to test a no-tipping policy and hopefully have the policy expand. The movement is to help address the servers wages due to them only making an average of 2 dollars and having to solely live on tips.  To make up for the loss of the employee’s income through tips, they will be paid an average of $12-$14 and,for some, even more. Could this policy win big or fall flat? Source http://www.cnn.com/

Starbucks has started an uproar by not having their drinks served in their traditional Christmas cups with iconic Christmas designs. The start of this controversy was a blog post that someone had written accusing Starbucks of not celebrating Christmas this year. The company usually  takes customers suggestions of what to put on the holiday themed cups but this year they wanted to have a cup that resembles a blank canvas so that anybody of any religion feels welcomed. Veterans Day

November 11 is a day we take the time to remember those who have served and died in wars fighting for our country. It all started in 1919  when President Wilson declared that every year on November 11 at 11 a.m. would be Armistice day to honor soldiers. This is because World War I ended that day a year before in 1918. As a nation, we take this day to reflect on our past and how proud we are as Americans to be a part of this country, the land of the free.

#prayforParis

Paris was having a usual night on November 13, filled with lots of tourists and happy chatter, until ISIS terrorists attacked Paris. ISIS terrorists targeted soccer games and sites around the French capital. Many of the terrorists are dead, and most have died from suicide bombings. The death toll for Paris is around 128 people. As Paris mourns their tragic day, we all pray for Paris and give them our full support.
