In Apple’s new IOS 8.3 update, they released their new and diverse emojis.

These new emojis were made for more diversity in the Apple brand. Now, when someone goes to a body or person emoji, they can choose from 6 different skin tones. This decision was made back in November but was just released to the public

This new keyboard can be found by simply updating your phone’s iOS.

Emojis are the faces and objects used in text messages to add visuals. On any Apple devices, they’re in a separate section on the keyboard area to access these emojis. Emojis have their own keyboard, which is available in settings.

Three hundred new emojis were added to the list. New skin tones, thirty-two flags, same-sex families, and the iPhone 6 and apple iWatch emojis (updating the old iPhone emoji) were added. Some new sport emojis have also been added, like skiing and mountain biking.

Some people believe these new emojis are not necessary, and that the update is causing more trouble than it needs to. Apple’s intention was not to discriminate races, but to make emojis equal to everyone and their races. Apple also claims that the yellow skinned emojis are representing a default emoji, not a specific skin color.

Some Apple users are glad to have a more variety for skin tones and same sex marriage emojis.

Also, in this update, they enlarged the space bar a bit; Siri has added new languages and the ability to make calls from iPhone speakerphone.
