Due to the iconic and legendary television series Friends having all 10 seasons added to Netflix, I have decided to rank the Top 5 episodes from the show’s history.  With the amount of great episodes from the series it was difficult to rank.  The ranking is based off of fan favorites, critical acclaim, and effect on pop-culture.

#5 “The One where everyone finds out” Season 5

In this one of many historic episodes, Phoebe seduces Chandler with her questionable dance moves. Joey introduces the viewers to Hugsy, his bedtime stuffed penguin, and Chandler and Monica tell each other “I love you.”  The episode was significant in the series as it starts the serious relationship between Monica and Chandler, while sharing the many laughs from Joey and Phoebe.

#4 “The one with the proposal” Season 6

Chandler shoots down any marriage ideas to Monica, which completely backfires.  This episode is one of the more touching of the many.  A massive fan favorite, Monica proposes to Chandler in the apartment with candles lit.  Literally making the viewers “awwwww.”  The two best friends who found love are finally engaged!

#3 “The Last One” Season 10

Considered by many fans and critics as a great wrap to the show’s final episode, “The Last One” is truly amazing.  Phoebe and Ross chasing Rachel is such a legendary sequence, and Monica and Chandler introduce their new children into the world.  Historic lines by Rachel “I got off the plane” had every fan cheering.  Ross and Rachel were going to be together!  The last episode to the historic show then ends the same way it started with six friends on their way to get some coffee.

#2 “The Pilot” Season 1

The first episode to the legendary television show.  The first episode is filled with legendary moments and fan favorite characters like Paul the Wine Guy.  Rachel and Ross split some Oreo cookies, and the gang yells at the soap opera on Rachel’s TV.  This is a significant episode as it is the one that started it all.

#1 The one with the Prom video” Season 2

To end the countdown, I chose to rank this at number one

because of the overwhelming fan response to the action of Ross and Rachel finally committing to a relationship with each other.  ROSS AND RACHEL FINALLY GET TOGETHER!  After a season and a half of the writers torturing the viewers with Ross and Rachel’s, will they/won’t they, relationship.  Providing a huge impact on pop-culture, this is considered the first relationship between the legendary on-screen couple of Ross and Rachel.
