Sitting on the window seat at midnight,
The moonbeams dancing on my skin,
I hold out my hand to catch the beams and hold them…
The full moon throwing rays of pale moonlight,
The milk white dancing on pale skin against the dark night
Like a midnight waltz of milk and ink.
A faint yawn escapes as I watch the silent waltz.
Slowly my head falls against the window,
The moonlight dancing on my face,
And slowly it fades away, the waltz giving in to sleep,
Then the red morning rays slowly take their place.
