Student Voice – Susky Students: Their Future

Between underclassmen scheduling and the first trickle of college acceptance letters, students have been dedicating plenty of thought to the far future. High school is where newly formed dreams grow and maturate, and Susquehannock students in particular have lofty goals. For this issue’s Student Voice, we’ve gauged the student body’s ambitions, asking of each gender and grade:

“What is your dream job? And why?”

Emma Frecon (Freshman): A bomb technician for the Air Force because I want to help our country and I want to be a chemical engineer.

Evan Brown (Freshman): Something with physics, because that’s what I love working with right now.

Amy Larum (Sophomore): An anchor at Fox News, because I love working in studios.

Greg Stewart (Sophomore) (in front): Something in the music industry because creating music and writing music is what gives me the most joy.

Anne Sheerin (Junior): A veterinarian, because my dad’s a veterinarian and I grew up on a horse farm and I’ve just lived my life around horses.

David Fodel (Senior): A professional football player, because I love to play football.

Bailey Tice (Senior): An art therapist, so I can help children and teenagers overcome their problems.

Web Burrier (Senior): A biochemist, because I really want to cure cancer.

Not everyone can manage to be a pro football player or a miracle doctor with the cure to one of the deadliest diseases in the world. But this is Susquehannock, and these students are up to the challenge. The Courier wishes the best of luck to our seniors and to everyone else trying to nab a place in the world.
