Boys Lacrosse Raises Money for Coach with Cancer

By Mia Kobylski, Editor-in-Chief

Senior Nate Campbell has created a Go Fund Me page for Boys lacrosse coach Russ LeBlanc.

Coach Leblanc has been diagnosed with throat cancer, and the money will go towards his treatment and his family.

Campbell will present the money at the end of the season in front of the team and parents.

“I plan on presenting [the money] at the banquet at the end of the year… I put the goal as $2,000, but I’d like to get as much as we can get,” said Campbell. “I put it on twitter and asked a few teachers to put it on their social media and to share with The Courier and morning announcements.”

Campbell’s goal is to raise $2,000.00, but he would like to raise more if possible.

Currently, about $400 dollars has been raised.
