Susquehannock Students Perform in Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Band Festival

Students from Susquehannock High School recently participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 7 Band Festival which was held at Eastern High School in Wrightsville, PA.  The district band was comprised of students from 47 south central Pennsylvania high schools.

Representing Susquehannock High School were Joe Fair (tuba), Ann Marie Falzone (clarinet), Hayden McGarvey (percussion), Julien Sherman (percussion), Lucas Schwanke (bassoon), Emma Steinauer (bassoon), and Connor Skevington (trombone).

“The student musicians brought down the house performing five outstanding pieces of challenging music,” said Christian Poole, Susquehannock High School’s band director.

The band was under the direction of Dr. David Romines, department co-chair and associate professor of music education at Marywood University in Scranton, PA.
