Susquehannock High School science teacher Laura Krotzer was recognized by the Philadelphia Eagles as an All-Pro Teacher at a pre-season game in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

A colleague nominated Krotzer for the award for demonstrating educational drive, inspiring innovation in the classroom, and engaging in community ownership. The Eagles organization recognizes outstanding 6th through 12th grade teachers for their contribution to their students, school, and community. She received a $1,000 donation from the organization for school supplies and has the chance to receive the $10,000 grand prize in December.

“This is a well-deserved honor. Laura demonstrates these qualities each day as she makes a difference in the lives of her students, one Warrior at a time,” said Superintendent Sandra Lemmon.
