Susky started off strong with the first goal being scored by Zach Buchanan 4 minutes into the game, assisted by Jason Weger, and another scored 5 minutes later by Jason Weger, assisted by Ben Wilson.

The teams were at a stalemate with the ball until 10 minutes later, Alex Kettinger scored another goal assisted by Lucas Miller.

Another 10 minutes passed, and with only 5 minutes left in the first quarter Weger, assisted by Joe Lippy, and Colton Mumley both score a goal leaving the score at 5 – 1 during Half Time.

Susky continued their streak with another goal 10 minutes into the second quarter by Buchanan assisted by Miller.

“We, as a team, were feeling fairly confident in our victory at Half Time,” shared Miller. “…But we knew if we got too cocky that we would slip up and Red Land could seal their own victory. I didn’t scored any goals but I assisted in two, so I’m just glad I could push the team that much farther.”

Greyson Murray scored the last goal for Susky in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Red Land got the first and last goal with only 3 minutes left in the game, scored by Jacob Speicher assisted by Chad Stout.

Defender Zak Kettinger felt the defense was on fire during the game, as well as the offense..

“We really put out our full effort that night,” said Kettinger. “Red Land didn’t know what hit them in the first half and in the second they might have gotten one goal past us but they knew there was no way they could even end with a tie. We had just scored so much more than them.”
