This week in sports, girls soccer, tennis, football, and girls volleyball battle on into their season.

  • Girls Soccer

The team won in an overtime game at Dover for the first time in four years.

The game was last Thursday, and the winning score was 1 – 0 .

  • Tennis

There will be a County Tournament on Oct 6 for tennis. People come from all over the county to watch this tournament.  Other teams that will be there consist of  Dallastown, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Red Lion, and Dover.tennis

  • Football

There will be a home game for football starting at 7:00 pm. Senior Chase Summers said that in preparation for this game, the team is putting in serious work. “…we’re really close. We’re just missing one or two pieces, so every day we just work really hard to be super good at practice, so we’ll be ready for Friday night,” said Summers.

  • Girls Volleyball 

There was a home game against Northeastern on October 6. This event starts at 7:15 pm. Besides the game on October 18th, this is the second to last home game of the season.
