Villanova and UNC are headed to the National Championship.
Villanova blew out Okalahoma with a 44 point lead.
While, thanks to only ten points, UNC beat Syracuse.
These two teams will advance to the National Championship on April 4 at 9:19 p.m.
Statistically speaking, the Tar Heels should win because they are 1.5 point favorites over the Wildcats, according to BleacherReport.com.
Looking at other stats, the Wildcats’ last five outings, they have shot 48-88 (54.5 percent) from three-point land, according to BleacherReport.com.
Shooting 54 percent from three point land is insanely impressive and makes it hard to beat a team when they shoot that well from behind the three-point line.
The Wildcats were not projected to go all the way when they first entered the tournament since this is the first time they have gotten out of the second round of the tournament since 2009.
The Tar Heels, led by stars Brice Johnson (senior) and Marcus Paige (senior), are going to have to face off against the Wildcats’ stars Josh Hart (junior) and Kris Jenkins (junior).
With all the star power from both teams, it will be hard to predict who will win the biggest game of the year for college basketball.
