Susky Sweeps the Computer Fair

Junior Kylie Taylor, senior David Gallegos, junior Colton Mumley and senior Kristy Langhans all placed at the PA Regional Computer Fair Competition at New Oxford on March seventh.

Taylor, who took first place in the graphic design category, is very proud of her hard work.

“I did the design category. So we had to create a pet business which was a little bit of a challenge this year, and I wanted to stay with like a simple logo that was professional and it really caught the judges attention,” said Taylor.

Gallegos, who took first in the logo category, was excited about the way he was able to make his logo unique.

“I wanted to do something different than what everyone else did, so I chose the state animal, the deer, and I combined that with some technological aspects,” said Gallegos.

Mumley, who took second in the graphic design category just after Taylor, was honored to be able to attend and display his work.

“It was really cool just to be able to go and be around all those talented people, and the fact that I placed just made it even better,” said Mumley.

Langhans also placed in the fair, taking second in the logo category just behind Gallegos.
