Southern York County School District students and staff are raising money to support a new student scholarship. Throughout the 2015-16 school year, staff and students have participated in the SYCSD Foundation’s “FUN” D Days, which take place in all District buildings. At the end of the school year, a graduating senior will be the recipient of a scholarship.

The “FUN” D Days are theme-based spirit days, where staff and students donate $1.00 to wear clothing that match the day’s theme. The next “Fun” D Day is Pajama Day takes place Tuesday, March 8, 2016. The fundraiser was originated by senior Matthew Barnhart, student representative to the SYCSD Foundation. To date, more than $1,100 has been raised for the scholarship.
