Malaysian Airlines flight 17 was shot down in Hrabove, Ukraine a year ago.

Last week authorities finally came to the conclusion that it was a Russian missile that shot down the airlines flight on October 14.

According to CBS news  the commercial airliner, containing 298 passengers, was shot down by a Russian controlled warhead, rumored to be a Buk rocket. All 298 passengers of the plane were killed in the tragic incident.

The blame is being put on pro-Russian separatists, but the Russians are trying to point blame at the Ukraine for the missile being fired.

The two sides are currently just pointing fingers at each other.

One theory that CNN had was that the weaponry was being used by someone who was not properly trained to use it.

The theory makes complete sense; if someone was not trained to fly the missile correctly, this type of disaster could easily strike.

According to CNN, the case is being taken by Dutch investigators who are trying to pin a specific person to the crime, so they can and will be punished for their actions.

The only problem is that pro-Russian rebels have taken over the crash site and could be tampering with evidence that is there, according to news.com.

This makes the investigation harder for the authorities to pinpoint a specific culprit of the crime.

It can lead people to believe that they are trying to cover up their tracks, so they won’t get caught and punished for the destroyed plane and deaths of the 298 passengers.

The world awaits to see what kind of punishment will be dealt out to the Russians for their crime.
