The library is adding a new mural painted by students; although, there is no estimated time for the mural to be complete. Librarian Kayse Corrieri explained what her vision for the mural is.

A Mark Twain inspired wooden fence is painted above the Writing Center's door.

“My vision is that we go with the nature theme, so we are going to think about all murals that tie into nature and literature,” Corrieri said.

According to Corrieri, if you would like to take part in the mural, meet with her to talk about a theme or bring work you have already done.

Junior Dawson Mcclain is impressed with the mural. “It is a part of the school. I like it,” said Mcclain.

Freshman Khyretha Jackson thinks that the mural is amazing. “I like to draw, so for me to see it, I am inspired,”said Jackson.

Corrieri said that within a couple of years the mural should be completed.
