Warrior Girls Soccer Volleys for Success

By Katelin Tyler, News Editor

It is three o’clock and sunny as the  girls soccer team steps out on the field preparing for warm-ups. The girls  begin and end with a scrimmage, hoping to gain an advantage over the competition.

Coaching is a key part in practices and on the field, and junior Hailee Yeager likes their head coach, Pat Brubaker.

“Our coach gives us tough love and pushes us but cares about us and has fun,” said Yeager.

A good coach with skills may be what the team needs to win due to nothing outstandingly new to the team, besides the loss of seven talented past senior players and the freshmen joining the team.

It is tradition that every team has a rival; in this case, it is Dallastown High School.

In these high energy games, the team tends to lean on and focus on one player to help them, but according to player Ashley Bryan,“ We are one team and all players are equal, we have been able to grow close to one another.”

With a hard work ethic and team unity,  the team will be able to overcome Dallastown.
